Week Sixty Seven -(Part One) Marsh, babies, White Face Ibis, nesting

White Face Ibis
These images were taken during a canoe trip with one of my sons.Standing guard and adjusting the eggs. After a hard day hatching a yawn is in order -
(Notice the egg to the right is pipped and hatching also)

The Little Things

“The little things are most worthwhile…
a quiet word, a look, a smile.
A listening ear that’s quick to share,
another’s thoughts, another’s cares…
though sometimes they seem small,
these little things mean most of all.”

It's been so long since I've seen a white-faced ibis! How sweet! I did not know they had robin's egg blue eggs though! Amazing shots! You know I love the birds!
