An extended family trip...

All Whales are Humpback Whales

Friday 7-16-10 = Left home drove to Mountain Home Id. Had air conditioning in car repaired :) then drove to our hotel in Pendelton, Or. The place we had reserved was worse than a dive so we picked up pizza and found a good hotel and spent the night.
Saturday 7-1710 = Left the hotel and drove to Issaquah, Wa. We checked into a nice hotel and thought about heading to a park nearby. Sirens and many police cars, ambulance and firetrucks later we decided to stay at the hotel as there were a couple of murders at the park.

Nice place and photos, but it looks a bit cold. Not too keen on that, coming from warm Australia.
Thanks for visiting my blog.

I am late in responding, asfter you left a comment at my place. You were in Issauquah when they had the gunfirght at Lake Sammamish State Park..this is so not the way it is at that park normally. I used to live down the street from it.

Your trip looked very fun, but that was a lot of traveling!
