Logan Canyon in various places

The images below show snow
where in years past the snow would
all be gone and wildflowers would
fill the open areas.
It has been a different year this
year but a good year unless you are one
of the homes being flooded along the
rivers or by the higher water table.

Here is a sample of what we saw last week
just 30 or less miles from our home.
-----------------------------------------------------
The top of the road before you drop
down into Swan Flats.
Near the top of
Egan Basin
We found Cougar tracks in the snow
and bear tracks in the mud here.

Just short of the big meadow near the
top of Franklin Basin.

As you can see there is still a lot of
snow to melt and come down.

How exciting to see the cougar and bear tracks.

There really isn't anything normal about weather.

That last shot is breathtaking. I'll have to get up there.
